Learn and Master Guitar Review
Learn and Master Guitar – Review
Hi! Thanks for visiting my page. I should introduce myself – I am a guitar player and former guitar teacher. I have been looking around at guitar lessons to find the courses that really help a new student not only learn to play but to learn to play well (and continue to improve). I wrote this review after taking a serious look at one of the top “learn guitar” video courses. I think this one really lives up to what it promises.
While investigating this course, I was impressed by what it says on the company’s website:
“Winner of the 2008 Acoustic Guitar Magazine Players’ Choice Awards, two Telly Awards and an AEGIS Award for Excellence in Education, Learn & Master Guitar is widely recognized as the best home instruction course for learning guitar available anywhere.
It consists of 20 professionally produced DVDs, 5 Jam-Along CDs, a 100+ page lesson book, and a free online student support site. It is the only instructional package you’ll ever need on your journey toward mastery of the guitar.”
What does all that mean for you, the guitar student?
There is no doubt that this course has successfully helped people learn to play the guitar. What you have to decide is whether this one would be the course that will help YOU. This is a great course for you if:
- You want to have your lessons on DVDs and CDs (so you don’t have to take the time to download everything, and you don’t even have to go on the internet to play and practice.
- You like using books AND videos to learn.
- You want to be able to get support and unlimited access when you need to ask questions to the teachers who created the course (in case you get stuck).
- You want to learn the basics (especially if you know nothing and are starting from scratch)
- You want to learn chords – basic and advanced
- You want to learn actual songs!
- You want to know about techniques – such as Hammer-Ons, Pull-Offs, and Advanced Bends with electric guitar (or even the Eddie Van Halen technique).
- You need to know more about how to play by ear.
- You want a guarantee, in case you are disappointed in the course.
The list goes on, but I’ll stop here with this one point: There is no other course that covers all of these things – Acoustic guitar, and electric and rock guitar, classical and fingerstyle, blues, jazz, R&B, funk, or country guitar. This course will help you learn to play any style – and to help you develop your own style. Their goal is for you to learn to master (not just play) the guitar. If you go over to the Legacy Learning site for Learn and Master Guitar, be sure to watch the video from the guitar teacher, Steve Krenz.
Since the creators of this course believe you will be not just satisfied, but delighted with all the materials, they have a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Learn and Master Guitar offers a real win-win situation that I can highly recommend to anyone who wants to begin to be that awesome guitar player you’ve always imagined you could be. If you’ve already made up your mind that you WILL learn to play the guitar, all there is left is to decide which of the guitar courses you prefer – the 10 DVD course or the 10 DVD course.
If you can’t decide, just go read more at Learn and Master.
